Lasagna…my way…the simple, yet delicious way.

Hey y’all!  I am sharing my lasagna recipe today.  Keep in mind that is very simple and cost friendly yet it carries a punch of flavor.  Usually, in the past, when people asked me about my recipe, I did not want to share it because it’s so simple.  But, I made one last night and I figure I should share it.  Let me let you in on my little secret…Philadelphia CREAM CHEESE!!!

  • 2 Pounds of ground beef
  • 1 Jar of Ragu Sauce, Meat flavor
  • 1 Small can of tomato sauce
  • 1 Box of lasagna noodles
  • 3 Cups of cheese (Mixed Mozzarella and Cheddar)
  • 1 Pkg. Cream Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  • Cook the meat, drain the fat.
  • Add the Ragu and tomato sauce to the meat, and add salt and pepper to taste, stir together then set aside.
  • Cook the noodles in salted water for 15 minutes. Set aside.
  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a 13X9 dish, assemble your lasagna alternating meat, pasta, cheese and cream cheese.
  • Cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes, just until cheese is melted.
