Finally I can say that I have one more day of work and then I am off to my new adventure…staying at home. I am excited, positive and nervous. Excited because I have so many small projects to do in the house, knowing that I will have plenty of time to complete those projects makes my heart skip a beat. Positive because I know that after a couple of weeks I will struggle with the routine, the not getting up and dressing up, the no-income situation (I do have my husbands’ income, but I like to have my own 🙂 ). Nervous because I am aware of how stressful I can make my family by staying at home. They know I am a social butterfly and that staying at home does not make me happy. They also know I made the decision to quit my job because I was not happy, and I has not been 100% productive, which is not fait for the company or the customers.
I have some ideas that will keep me busy. I plan on exploring Memphis, TN and parts or Mississippi, like Jackson and Vicksburg. There are some antique shops on my way to work that I have not had the time to visit and that is number one on my list of things to do. I plan on looking for a part-time job, but that will be after the summer.
Blogs and more blogs will be written. Exploring my surroundings will improve my creative juices, and my posts.
Obviously with JJ’s commitment to his current baseball team, I will be able to take him to practice, that will alleviate some stress our my hubs, so that is a plus.
I also plan on taking the kids to discover Mississippi during the summer, just day trips to historical sites. After all we all know that there is a lot of history written in this state.
Like I said, one more day and I will be fully committed to my family…and I am looking forward to that.by
