Raining in Memphis

Well, I know Spring brings plenty of rain, but, am I the only one who feels a little “blah” when it rains?

I hear you, Rain You are so lovely and soft. I almost didn't notice that you had crept in; I'm so glad you did. Your rhythms soothe and calm me. I am thankful for your sounds, musical, but free from thought. Fall down on me. Fall down On me:

I enjoy the rain if I am home, but if I have to drive to work, is a major headache.  I mean if it sprinkle people in the Memphis area fear to drive.  I-55 was a nightmare this morning, and it was not even raining that bad.  I did not get any road rage, but it got me thinking about why people drive so slow when it rains.  I figure as long as you keep a good distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, you should have plenty of time to hit the brake if something happens.

...being inside on a rainy day just watching it rain~one of life's greatest pleasures!:

Another reason why rain is not a friendly thing when you work outside of your home is because you don’t always have an umbrella in your car.  Or if you do, your child may take that umbrella from your car to use it while waiting for the school bus.

What about shoes? Do you wear rain boots when it rains? I sure don’t! As soon as the weather hits above 60 degrees, I am all about sandals and flip-flops.  Wearing open toe shoes when is raining…is a little messy!

Someone pull me into doing something I like, but am not confident enough to do on my own. Like being crazy and dancing in the rain:

I am blessed with good curly hair, so rain does not bother my hair, but I know plenty of ladies out there that fear the rain just because the reaction their hair has to it…so that is another “problem” when it rains.

So, that is my though of the day…after listening to the weatherman say that the next 5-days will be rainy…I speechless.  So, we will embrace the rain as much as we can…after all…you can always dance in the rain.
