246 people killed…2,500+ injured…if that is not enough to catch your attention there must be something wrong with you, with humanity. To see all the faces of the injured, people looking for their loved ones, people trying to follow the cries to rescue those buried under all the rubble…if that does not catch your attention…Where is your humanity?
Venezuela, Columbia, Spain, Mexico, Peru and the European Union all pledged aid. According to the U.S. Geological Survey the Earthquake magnitude was 7.8. According to CNN, Manabí Providence was the hardest hit-area, the death toll in that particular area was 200. Rescuers continue their search for life in the rubble, hoping to locate people buried under the collapsed buildings.
How about we all bow our heads on this glorious Monday morning and thank God for all of our blessings, and while you thank HIM, say a little prayer for all those who have been affected by the Earthquake. Donate. Give blood. Pray, pray hard….
