My Version of a Mocha Frappuccino

Who doesn’t like Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino? I know my kids and I are madly in love with the beverage. With the horrendous Mississippi heat, I have found myself craving the famous drink almost every day. ┬áBut, I am not willing to spend $5.00 or more buying the drink from Starbucks. So, I decided to search for recipes that would come out similar to Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino.

Here is the recipe I came up with, I got the idea from multiple sites, and of course I gave it my own twist.

My Version of a Mocha Frappuccino

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Milk, I used Almond Milk
  • 1 Cup of ice
  • 2 Tablespoons of chocolate syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 Shots or Espresso (I make my espresso with Cafe Yaucono, Puerto Rican coffee)
  • Whipped Cream

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients in a high power blender for a couple of minutes until all the ice is crushed. Serve,and enjoy!
