January Recap

Yeh 1 month Gone.2015:

What a busy month you turned out to be!!! A trip to Puerto Rico, sickness in the house, and long, stressful hours of work, not to mentioned all the winter workouts for the baseball player.

Cannot complain, a lot happened in January 2016, but it was all good and manageable.  The weather started super cold, but this last weekend of January has been perfect. The kids were both sick, which cause me to miss work, but now they are feeling better. J struggled a lot with his back, but this last week things seem to be better. That is all that matters at the end…that my family is conquering this year, that they are overcoming adversity and that they are striving to be the best humans beings they can be.

I have to confess that my Christmas Tree was up until yesterday. I took the ornaments down as soon as I came back from my trip to PR, but I wanted the kids to take the initiative to remove the tree…well, that did not happen. So, yesterday I volunteered then to do it together…it took a whooping 5 minutes!!! So, finally we can say…OK, Christmas is OVER!

This month was also a new beginning for me, trying out a new medicine for my skin, and although it seems to be working is rather painful when injected…so is one of those things that I will have to mentally conquer if I want my skin to improve some. I am hanging in there, I have seen some improvements and that is all I can ask. It was a struggle to get the insurance company to approve the thing, but with help from my doctor, we made it possible.

A lot of things are happening in February, all kids related, that is how I live my life. When they become adults, then I will find time to re-invent myself and live my life, or what’s left of it, to my fullest…making myself my priority…well, at least that is what I hope for. Only time and life will tell!

  1. Appreciating the persistence you put into your site and in depth information you present.
It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Great read!
