Over a year ago I purchased a Fitbit on Amazon and I started using it right away without even bothering to read the instructions, yes, I do that a lot! Fitbit started tracking and tracking all sorts of things, and it was kind of nice…until I noticed how bad my sleeping was. I tried to correct my sleeping, but that was a lost battle from the get go. I can only blame myself for not been consistent with work outs. I keep finding excuses not to work out…although once I am working our I actually enjoy it…and amazingly enough I am a kind of gal that start seeing results right away. So, needless to say, I put my Fitbit away. I though I have throw it away.
Last night I noticed that a FB friend started using a Fitbit and he was asking for challengers. So, I sent a message back saying that I would challenge him if I could find my Fitbit. Well, this morning, in a matter of 2 minutes, I found the Fitbit. I have the Fitbit Flex, and I started charging it, and I also download the app for my IOS. So, here I am logging my food, I even have my workout pants on…have yet to work out though. I am waiting for the Fitbit to be fully charged then I will go on my first little workout to see what happens.
The idea of using the Fitbit, scares me a bit, I want to figure out why my sleep time is so unhealthy. Maybe it was the result of a traumatic experience I lived last year or it may be that my sleep has always been as bad, who knows. This time I am not as stress as I was, so I have no reasons to be troubled when I sleep.
I am not ready to challenge my friend…I mean he has been working our for a while now…I have to get into a routine then I can challenge him. I am not going to lie and say that I am super excited, because I am not, lol. But, I can say that I am looking forward tomorrow and the day after…see if I can stick to the Fitbit 🙂by
