Fresh, green vegetables…SALSA VERDE!!!
I love, love, love Salsa Verde. The freshness of the tomatillos, cilantro, onions, jalapenos, and garlic is to die for. I decided to make my own version of Salsa Verde today. The idea is to add some Salsa Verde to some leftover grilled chicken I am planning on having for dinner today.
The best part of making your own sauces and food is that you control what ingredients go into the mix. I do not like spicy food, therefore I only used one jalapeno, but you can use as many as you want, make it according to your palette.
